Reservation process

How do I know if my reservation is registered?

After online payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a reservation number. This email acts as a voucher to be presented to the agency when collecting the vehicle.

Is a minimum age required to rent a vehicle?


You must have more than 21 years and two years of driving license to rent an economical and compact vehicle.
You must be over 23 years old and three years old to have a driver’s license to rent an SUV and 7 seater vehicle.
You must be over 25 and five years old to have a driver’s license to rent a Premium vehicle

What happens if I return the vehicle late?

As with treatment, you must contact the agency to notify them. In general, a tolerance of half an hour is practiced, but you can be billed for an additional day if you do not notify or your delay is too great.

Options and Guarantees

How can I add options (baby seat, etc.) to my reservation?

You can add all the options and guarantees you want after confirming the choice of your vehicle, when booking online.

How to add additional conductors?

How to add several conductors?
When you hire, the first 2 drivers are included in the price. If you want an additional driver, you must choose the multi-driver option. Once your reservation is finalized, you will receive an email from Autolagon asking you to complete the information for the different drivers.

What happens in the event of a glass breakage?

Glass breakage insurance is optional, you can subscribe to this option on the “options” page.
The subscription is made at the time of your reservation.

Documents to be submitted

What documents do I need to present to take possession of the vehicle?

You must present to the Autolagon agent, the original of your driving license (for the main and additional driver (s)) the rental voucher and a credit card in the name of the driver. The credit card must have a sufficient ceiling to block the amount of the deposit (which is the amount of the damage excess). Remember to check with your bank before your departure to avoid unpleasant surprises …

Can I rent if I have lost my license?

Yes, you can, if you present yourself to the Autolagon agent at your reception, a document from the prefecture indicating that your license is being repaired.

Do I have to present the original of my license upon delivery of the vehicle?

Yes, you must present the original or an official loss / theft document from your prefecture to the Autolagon agent when picking up the vehicle

Assistance

For the duration of my rental, do I receive assistance in the event of a breakdown / accident?

Yes, you benefit from 24-hour assistance, you can call the Autolagon agency at the number indicated on your rental contract.

What to do in the event of damage or an accident?

You must first notify the agency as soon as possible, and at the latest within 24 hours.
In the event of an accident, whether or not you are responsible, you must complete an amicable report and file it with the agency within 24 hours.
In the event of theft, you must file a complaint with the nearest gendarmerie as soon as said theft is noticed. The receipt for filing a complaint must be sent to the agency within 24 hours.

Means of payment

What are the payment options available ?

If you book online, payment can be made by credit card Visa, Visa Premier, Mastercard or Mastercard Gold.

If you book at the agency, payment can be made by credit card, holiday vouchers or cash.

Are my bank card numbers not in relief?

Bank cards with numbers without relief are not accepted for the deposit.

does the blocking of the deposit affect my monthly outstanding?

Indeed, even if the deposit is not cashed, when picking up the vehicle, bank authorization is accepted only if your outstanding amount allows.

Prices

What does the price include?

A fixed price per number of days (24-hour periods) in unlimited mileage. Compulsory insurance: all risks and civil liability.

What are the possible reductions?

You have 15% discount with online payment compared to the counter price.

You can benefit from a promo code if you are hosted in a cottage that is an Autolagon partner

Depending on the season, Autolagon sets up promotions for certain selected weeks, if you are registered on the Autolagon site, you can take advantage of these promotions.

State of play

Do we have to make an inventory when taking possession and returning the vehicle?

Yes, a contradictory inventory, noting the exterior and interior condition must be made at the beginning and at the end of the rental.

Do I have to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel?

Yes, you must return the vehicle with the same quantity in the tank as when the vehicle was picked up.

However, if you wish not to take care of this task and waste time refilling the same level of fuel, we recommend the “refueling” option which allows you to bring the vehicle back without fuel.

What happens if the vehicle is damaged during the return?

In this case, your credit card will be debited for the amount of repairs, on the invoice of a professional, increased by the costs of taking charge and immobilization, within the limit of the deductible.

Modification / Cancellation

Before taking charge of the vehicle, can I modify / cancel my reservation?

The reservation can be modified before the start of the rental. It must however intervene at the latest 48 hours before the start of the rental (depending on availability), that is to say before taking effective possession of the vehicle. Management fees will be charged for each modification.





In return for the price advantage granted, the amount of the rental price remains in any event acquired by the Lessor in the event of a modification to a reservation for a rental at the prepaid rate. If such modification results in an increase in the rental price, this will be invoiced to the Customer.





Cancellations must be made online on the website www.autolagon-guadeloupe.com, or in writing at the following address: Autolagon, Service Reservation, Route de Berard, 97180 Ste Anne, or by e-mail: reservation @ autolagon. Fr. No cancellation will be refunded without having taken the cancellation insurance option.

After taking charge of the vehicle, can I modify my reservation?

If you wish to extend or decrease the duration of your rental, you must contact the agency, which will inform you of the feasibility or not.

I made a mistake in my reservation, what should I do?

Just call the Autolagon reservation center as soon as you notice the error.

Autolagon will then make every effort to satisfy you during your request for modification, within the limits of our possibilities.
