from 01 November 2021 to 31 March 2022 New "Mountain Law" regulation
From November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021, it becomes compulsory in certain communes of France and particularly in the mountainous massifs, to have a removable device on board the vehicle.
For all bookings from an agency located in a department affected by the Mountain Law, the snow chain equipment is automatically provided in the vehicle when you are picked up.
Please note that if you break or damage the snow chains on return, you will be charged a fee of 45 €.
For all bookings from an agency located in a department that is not affected by the Loi Montagne, we recommend that you check in advance whether your route includes roads where the Loi Montagne is in force. You can add the Chaine option when you make your reservation or when you are at the counter when you are picked up.
You are also reminded that you are responsible for any breach of the traffic regulations during your rental period, and that you are liable for any costs incurred as a result.
If Autolagon is required to pay any costs to the authorities, these will be charged back to You, in addition to the corresponding towing and immobilisation costs.
